![]() ![]() ![]() Myself, I will have to set up my G27 before I could possibly make further comment but even at these early stages I feel personaly pleased and excited that I jumped in with this game as a racing/driving enthusiast which I know isn't the best of things to do these days as it's always a risk. I also have the 'feeling' that even though I have only just played with the keyboard so far the dynamics and implementation of the keyboard settings (at least) allows me to 'not spin off' at every mistake with the keys but also makes sure I do not go unpunished with regard to lap times. I just get the feeling of speed and the way the scenery whizzes by. Sorry I am no expert so don't know the terminology enough. I do especially like the cam views and the way the feeling of speed comes toward the widescreen Field of View. I have all the Race On games/DLC's etc and other Codemaster F1 games and the Dirt series, but one thing that stands out for me with this game is as follows. Apart from the campaign mode the game offers Free Play where any unlocked car can be drive, as well as Online play for up to eight players in a single race.I can't comment in a previous thread about the difficulty as I have played little so far but I can comment on the graphics and I do (personaly of course) think that they are great on my modest GTX 460 Win7 4GB Ram setup. ![]() There are over fifty Ferrari models to unlock and 36 classic racing tracks taken from real life. All the missions are loosely tied together by a storyline. The missions include beating lap times in a set number of laps, advancing a set number of positions with two laps left in a race, or trying to keep the distance to another car for a set number of laps. The player can switch between eras as they see fit but cannot progress in an era until the current mission is completed. The main campaign is divided into 3 eras Golden (1947 to 1973), Silver (1974 to 1990) and the Modern era (1991 to 2011). Players get to take every single Ferrari model ever made out onto the race track. Test Drive: Ferrari Racing Legends is a racing game based on a downgraded version of the SHIFT 2 Unleashed engine by the same development team. ![]()
